Terms of Service
Using Telloft
By creating an account or using Telloft you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be at least 13 years old; if you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of your use of Telloft.
Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Don't create accounts to evade a restriction or ban, and don't impersonate other people.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you write on Telloft. By publishing, you give Telloft a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, distribute and format your content on and in connection with the service (for example in feeds, search, previews and our RSS feed), according to the visibility settings you choose. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that other people have legitimately shared, and for backups that expire in the normal course.
You confirm that you own what you publish or have the right to share it, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. Please don't publish other people's work as your own.
Posting anonymously or under a pen name changes what other readers can see. It does not change these Terms: you remain responsible for your content, and we keep an internal record of who published it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use of Telloft is governed by our Community Guidelines. In particular, you may not:
- post anything illegal, or any sexual content involving minors (this is reported to the authorities);
- harass, threaten, bully or incite violence or hatred against any person or group;
- publish other people's private information (such as addresses, phone numbers or identity documents) or identify people in ways that put them at risk;
- encourage or glorify self-harm or suicide;
- post spam, scams, misleading promotions or malicious links or code;
- scrape, overload or try to break into or bypass the security of the service, or use automated tools to create accounts or content in bulk.
Moderation
Anyone can report content from its page. Our team may review reports and act at its discretion: send a warning, hide or remove content, restrict comments and reactions on a story, or restrict or suspend an account. We aim to be fair and consistent, but we are not obliged to publish or keep any particular content. If you think we got a decision wrong, contact us and we will take another look.
Copyright
If you believe content on Telloft infringes your copyright, email us at telloft.official@gmail.com with a link to the content, details of the work, and how we can reach you. We will review it and remove content where appropriate.
Account termination
You may deactivate or delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, with serious violations resulting in immediate action. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, liability and governing law) survive termination.
Not a crisis service
Telloft is a place to share stories. It is not a medical, mental health or emergency service and we can't monitor posts around the clock. If you or someone you know is in danger or thinking about self-harm, please contact your local emergency number or a local crisis helpline right away.
Disclaimer
Telloft is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Stories and comments reflect the views of their authors, not of Telloft, and we don't verify their accuracy. We don't guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Telloft and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (if any) or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we make a significant change we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Telloft after a change means you accept the new Terms.
